TTS, LLC Announces Merger with Walsh Transportation Group Doubling Intermodal Business Opportunities While Expanding Personalized Logistics Productivity

TTS, LLC’s first shipment moved on January 6, 2006.  That single shipment marked the beginning of a long and fruitful future.  Today marks the announcement of another major milestone for TTS, the merger with Walsh Transportation Group.

Based in Exeter, NH, Walsh Transportation Group is a third party transportation and logistics provider with an asset-based trucking division, Atlantic Distribution Services.

Walsh Transportation Group is one of the largest intermodal marketing companies in the United States with access to over 200,000 pieces of intermodal equipment across the U.S., Canada and Mexico. The company provides superior service to support a large group of company and commission sales people and its independent agents.

TTS’ technology solutions and supply chain software will greatly enhance Walsh Transportation Group’s ability to manage their clients’ transportation and logistics business with an easy-to-use web-based interface that allows for order management, carrier selection, reporting and analysis, and full EDI capabilities.

For the past seven years, TTS pursued an aggressive expansion policy, allowing the company to quickly become a global contender.  “At about this time last year, we were preparing to reach one million shipments. We’ve now processed over 250 thousand more shipments and we expect to increase our shipments and revenue streams exponentially with the Walsh Transportation Group in 2013,” said President and CEO, Andy Cole.

“The combination of TTS over-the-road trucking contracts and our strong presence in intermodal will provide both our agents with significantly greater opportunity to provide custom-fit solutions for their clients, said Bill Walsh, President & CEO, Walsh Transportation Group.

Walsh Transportation Group’s logistics arm, WTG Logistics and Atlantic Distribution Services lend their strong customer focus to TTS’ reputation of individualized service.

“Our vision for 2013 includes augmenting our agents’ business with personalized, on-site training and field services, as well as providing enhanced carrier services through our new online platform, TTS Momentum,” said Cole. “As always, our technology and computing systems provide significant value to our agents, carriers and customers, and this remains an aggressive and steadfast area of focus for TTS.”

TTS is listed at number 19 in the Top 25 Brokerage Firms by Transport Topics and ranks in Inc. Magazine’s list of America’s fastest growing private companies for three years running.

With a highly focused agent culture, TTS and Walsh Transportation Group’s rapid growth and competitive advantage originates directly from their strong stance in providing the best customer service.
