Here are two resources for you as we speed towards the close of the year.

The first resource is our On The Record interview with noted economist Gary Shilling. After some of our viewers listened to our interview with Randy Mullett about the implications of the Trump administration on transportation, they called us and said that while transportation policy is important, what they are really concerned about is the economy.

So we gave our friend Gary a call and as usual, he had some very insightful comments about what we can expect in 2017 on the economic front.

In this interview, he talks about how the Trump administration will impact interest rates, infrastructure, trade policy, and more. Gary also predicts what we’ll see ahead in terms of economic growth and why.

The second thing we want to encourage you to do is to make plans to attend the upcoming NIT League Annual Transportation Summit that takes place from January 30th to February 1st in San Diego.
Dr. Ken Blanchard, author of The One Minute Manager, will be giving a Keynote Address about leadership challenges in today’s marketplace. The conference will also feature Dr. Mick Ukleja, an expert on working with/managing millennials, the outstanding Ocean, Rail and Highway Committee meetings, and more. You can learn more about this event at NITL.org

If you have any questions about the conference or anything else, please get in touch with us at 630-833-0890 or send us an email. We’re on your team, we’re here to help, and we’re passionate about helping you finish the year strong.
