Recently I was having a conversation with a CEO. We were talking about some supply chain issues and I asked him a direct question: "Is your supply chain helping or hurting your company?" When he responded, "I don't know," I wasn't too surprised because it's the same answer I have received from other C-Level executives.

So when I hear these same executives tell me that their supply chains are critically important, I like to remind them: "When it comes to supply chain issues, ignorance isn't bliss--what you don't know can be very, very costly."
