Over the years, I've given numerous talks that highlight the reality that each and every one of us is one phone call, or trip to the doctor's office away from having our world turned upside down. That's why in this week's Two Minute Warning we're hitting the "pause button" from our usual logistics industry updates to talk about the importance of relationships.
Why are we doing this now? Well, candidly, over the past couple of months I’ve gotten a number of calls and emails from friends who have experienced those life changing moments. And based on personal experience I know that when you have those significant challenges, it’s great to be able to pick up the phone and reach out to a network of family and friends who can lend their support.
In my life, one of those friends that has been there for me is Dr. Ken Blanchard. Many people know Ken because of his book The One Minute Manager. But he is also a great speaker and many of his talks address the importance of building great relationships. That is why we are delighted to share his speech from the 2017 NIT League Annual Conference about improving yourself and your company.
