Resources for Staying on Top of the Transportation Industry

One of my favorite responses to the Two Minute Warnings is when someone asks: "I never knew that, where do you get your information?" In that spirit, I’d like to share some resources we use to stay on top of what is occurring in the transportation industry.

• Participate in a Wolfe Research's Quarterly Shipper Survey. These surveys gather key information and are very useful in gauging what is happening in the transportation industry. And when you participate the folks at Wolfe Research will send you the results and you will have a much better understanding of what is occurring in the marketplace.
  
  
• Attend NASSTRAC’s Annual Conference on April 24 and 27 in Orlando. This is a great industry conference and in 2 1/2 days you will hear from key industry leaders about what is happening in the industry, network with your peers, and get an up date "Briefing" on what is happening in Washington D.C. that will impact your freight costs and supply chains. I know you're very busy but one of the reasons I haven't missed a NASSTRAC Conference in over twenty years is because it is such a great investment of time.
