TIA’s Veterans Hiring Initiative Celebrates Veterans Day
As Veterans Day approaches next Tuesday, November 11th, TIA Members and participants in TIA’s Veterans Hiring Initiative would like to thank all former military members for their service to our great nation. Since its inception in February 2013, TIA’s Veterans Initiative has worked to connect growing companies with highly qualified returning and disabled veterans across the country. Participating in the Veterans Hiring Initiative is one small gesture we can make to the men and women who have sacrificed to protect our freedom.
As those brave men and women leave the armed services and return home, there is an incredible opportunity for TIA’s 1,400 member companies to have a major impact and a positive change in those veterans’ lives. Over 75 companies nationwide have signed up, and nearly 100 former servicemen and women have been hired by TIA members this year alone.
