The Military Surface Deployment and Districtution Command announced on Friday October 18th that effective Monday October 28, 2013, Gate 7B on JB Charleston will be permanently closed to commercial vehicle traffic.

Henceforth, all commercial vehicles will be required to enter through Gate 4, the Remount Road Search Gate in North Charleston South Carolina.
